LHS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIPS (collegiate level)

LHS ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP (collegiate level)
Presented by LEXINGTON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

DESCRIPTION
Lexington High School alumni and the Lexington Community Foundation have established an alumni scholarship fund to provide for four annual collegiate scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each. Each scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Lexington High School who is currently enrolled full-time at any university, state college, community college, or technical school within the State of Nebraska as a collegiate sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.

The award is created to give tribute to the faculty and staff that help shape the futures of all Lexington High School students and to encourage the recipients of this award to one day return the favor and give back as much as they can whenever the opportunity may arise.

Josh Baldwin, LHS Class of 2000 and a major contributor to this scholarship endowment, shares, “I still have a lot of love and respect for the faculty and staff that helped me achieve everything about who I am today. After completing my doctorate in 25 years, some of the best teachers I ever had the opportunity to learn from came from and are currently employed with LHS; I say that with all my heart!"
