MAJESTIC THEATRE SCHOLARSHIP
The Majestic Theatre is open and continues to operate due to volunteers who provide a source of entertainment to the city of Lexington. From day one the renovation and reopening of the theater was made possible by the students of Lexington Public School along with the donation of money and time from many residents. In order to have great things in our community, we need to encourage everyone to get involved. Through your commitment to volunteering at the theatre, you may be eligible to win one of multiple scholarships from the Majestic Theatre.
QUALIFICATIONS
Any Lexington High School student who has generously given their time in volunteering at the Majestic throughout their high school career is eligible to apply.
A 250 word statement telling of their specific acts of volunteerism at the Majestic and how the act of giving back has impacted their life.
AWARD AMOUNT
$500 scholarships will be awarded. The number of scholarships awarded to be determined by the scholarship committee.
AWARD DISBURSEMENT
Scholarship money will be sent to the college during the fall semester upon verification of class registration.
