LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF ’77 SCHOLARSHIP

LEXINGTON HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF ’77 SCHOLARSHIP

DESCRIPTION
The Lexington High School Class of 1977 has established a scholarship in memory of our classmates. Our reunion committee had always wondered what to do when one of our classmates passed away. We decided each of us would be responsible for our own memorial gifts by donating money to the Lexington Community Foundation for the benefit of the Class of 1977 Scholarship Fund. This was all voluntary, no set amount was given and we had donations from $10 to $200. We hope to keep our fund endowed by encouraging future donations directed to the Class of 1977 Scholarship Fund.

The Lexington Community Foundation administers the $500 annual scholarship to be awarded to a Lexington High School senior who enrolls in any university, college, or technical school in Nebraska.
