HENRY K ORTHMAN SCHOLARSHIP

DESCRIPTION
The HENRY K ORTHMAN SCHOLARSHIP fund has been established by the employees of Orthman Manufacturing, Inc. in honor of Henry K Orthman, the company founder. The scholarship will be awarded to an Orthman Manufacturing employee’s child or relative, who has plans to pursue a post-secondary education.
QUALIFICATIONS
The student must be of good moral character and, in general, be a credit to their community and this scholarship. The applicants will be judged on their scholastic record, extra-curricular, and community activities. Consideration will also be given to the financial need of the individual, but will not be of prime importance.
AWARD AMOUNT
The scholarship is awarded in the amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00).
AWARD DISBURSEMENT
It is one-time payable to the school at which the recipient is enrolled as a full-time student.
