HURLESS TRADE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was created to provide an opportunity for a graduating senior at LHS to pursue a career in a skilled labor field at a technical or community college. This scholarship was established to honor the lifetime work of Mr. Cliff Hurless. Applicants should plan to acquire a degree in a skilled labor field, which would include welding, automotive, electrical and plumbing.
QUALIFICATIONS
The student needs to apply and be accepted into a technical or community college working towards a career in the skilled labor field. The applicants should have good moral character, excellent school attendance and be responsible citizens. The student’s employment record will be considered.
AWARD AMOUNT
$1000 renewable for second year
AWARD DISBURSEMENT
