ST. ANN’S KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP
The Knights of Columbus Council 2040 of St Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington, NE began fundraising for different purposes back in the 1970’s. Their main fundraising event was BINGO! Some of the funds generated from this activity were used to assist seniors from the then St Ann’s High School. Since the closing of St Ann’s in 1988 the Knights have continued to support this scholarship in hopes to help seniors with financial need attain their hopes of going to college.
QUALIFICATIONS
The student must be an active member of St Ann’s Catholic Church. This will be verified by the priest of the parish.
The scholarship committee will consider all eligible students but will give strong consideration to those with financial need.
AWARD AMOUNT
3 – $1000 scholarships will be awarded
AWARD DISBURSEMENT
Scholarship will be awarded upon verification of first semester grades and second semester class schedule.
