LEXINGTON EDUCATION ASSOCIATION ROBINSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship was started as a tribute to Ms. Gertude Robinson back in 1960 by her students and peers. Well versed in both Latin and History Miss Robinson influenced her students with her passion for education and the subject she taught. Paying this passion forward, the Lexington Education Association continues to encourage seniors to join them in a career of education.

QUALIFICATIONS
Senior must be pursuing a degree in the field of education at any four-year university or college. Applicants will be judged on leadership, character, people skills, and moral character.

AWARD AMOUNT
$500 will be paid each year for up to four years and is contingent on the student’s career path staying in education.

AWARD PAYMENT
Payment will be made to the institution each semester upon verification of grades and class schedule showing progression in the educational field.
